After 15 years of martial arts training, Dr. Burres earned the award of a Black Belt in shotokan karate from Sensei Oshima of Shtokan Karate of America. He is a life-time Black Belt recipient. dr. Burres runs the LA marathon annually, completing the even 18 times. Anually, he has been in the top 2000 of the 25000 finishers. On occassions, Dr. Burres has been accomplished in skiing, swimming, and billiards.
